Listing your Domain Name

What is a Domain Name? How does it work? Why do I need one? A domain name is like an address to your site. Your website needs to be physically located on a server (computer) that is connected 24 hours a day 7 days a week to the internet. When someone types in your domain name (address), their web browser will go to the correct server and then to your website. Without a domain name, web browsers cannot locate your site.

We will list your domain name with a Domain Registrant. All domain names must be registered because your name will be owned only by you. There is a fee from the registrant every year to retain your domain name. They will bill you directly. We have a small one-time fee for setting up your domain with the registrant.
